Chive for produce-box delivery partners

Turn every food box delivery into dinner.

Chive is a kitchen app. It tracks what’s in someone’s fridge and cupboards, tells them what they can cook with it tonight, and puts whatever’s missing on the grocery list. With our pilot program, one scan of the QR code in your box puts this week’s produce in there too, with your recipes attached and a nudge before anything goes off.

Why it works for you

The customers who use the whole box are the ones who stay.

You already send food people are glad to get. Chive reads what’s actually in someone’s pantry, your box included, and tells them what they can cook with it tonight. Your recipes sit right alongside those ideas, and your customers reach Friday with an empty crisper.

When a box arrives

Your customers can

See what to make from this week’s produce, even when the box ships without recipe cards
Find or generate recipes based on what they have in stock
Get a nudge toward the produce that should be cooked first
Add the two or three missing things to a grocery list
Keep the whole household’s kitchen in one place
A lightweight partner pilot

We start with the way your delivery works.

1

Show us your current flow.

What goes in a delivery, how you tell customers what’s in it, and whether you send recipes.

2

Shape the first week.

We set up the QR insert, the customer explanation, and the way that week’s box lands in Chive.

3

Let customers try it.

They opt in, scan the code, and we take the app experience from there.

A two-sided co-branded card in a produce box: the front has a QR code reading Make more of this week's box, the back explains what happens when you scan
We design the insert with your branding and send you print-ready artwork. The farm shown is an example.

What we ask from you

  • A QR insert in participating boxes, or a link in the email you already send
  • The week’s contents and recipes, forwarded exactly as you write them: packing list, spreadsheet, or newsletter text
  • One conversation at the start about how your delivery week runs

What you don’t take on

  • Handing over a customer list
  • A new storefront or membership program
  • Chive customer support during the pilot
  • Any new weekly work beyond forwarding what you already write
Questions, answered

A straightforward partner program.

What’s the catch?

There isn’t one. Chive is new, and a good customer experience is the best way for people to find it. We ask for honest feedback while we learn. We never ask for a customer list, a contract, or an obligation to continue.

What happens after the pilot, and do customers hit a paywall?

Your customers keep their pantry, your recipes, expiry reminders, and grocery list, and there’s no partner fee during the pilot or after. Chive+ is a personal upgrade some households choose for heavier use, and nothing in the box experience depends on it.

Does the pilot have to look one specific way?

No. We start with a short conversation and shape a small first run around your delivery, your customer emails, and whatever’s easiest for your team.

Let’s start with a short conversation.

Tell us how your delivery works. If there’s a fit, we’ll shape a contained pilot around what you already do and set it up alongside you. Happy to get you into the app first so you can judge it yourself.
